Well, first at all, Happy Easter to everyone here!
This post is about some Herman Rarebell´s interview conducted by Chris Alo for the brazilian "Roadie Crew" magazine, February 2011 issue, in which Mr. Rarebell talks about his career, his new band (STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT), his latest solo album, etc... but there is something interesting about Don Dokken and the Schenker brothers which caught my attention and since then I didn´t hear anybody commenting about that, so I would like to place this question: is it all fact or fiction? Here is a free translation of what Mr. Rarebell said about a new project:
"I talked with Don a couple days ago and he said it would be cool if we get together and do something on stage. (...) Besides that, Rudolf and Michael Schenker want to release an album as SCHENKER BROTHERS and I Am talking with Don Dokken (about that). Anyway, there is a lot of things happening!"
So, it is not an internet rumour, Mr. Rarebell said that on interview..., but is there any REAL thing about this happening or was just some wishful thinking that it might happen someday? What do guys know about that? I just hope that if it really happens, the music doesn´t sound like a "SCORPIONS featuring Don Dokken" or something like that and they do something catchy and melodic!
