80s Dokken

I've been listening to Back For The Attack, Lock & Key and Tooth & Nail almost nonstop lately. The Dokken, Lynch, Pilson & Brown band was one tight band!! I don't know where George Lynch is in the top 100 rock guitarists list but for me, he would have to be in the top five.

I know egos got in the way of success. I wonder if Don ever allowed more creative input from the members (Pilson, Lynch), would the 80s band get back together? It's just wishfull...

I was talking with someone who mentioned that they almost saw Dokken on the Tooth and Nail tour back in 85 opening for Twisted Sister who would have been on their Come out and Play tour. Sister's Come Out and Play was a commercial failure and the tour followed suit so the show was cancelled for lack of ticket sales. This got me thinking about who all they opened for prior to Under Lock and Key. Anyone got any others?

Alright, newb here--longtime Dokken fan since 1984. Anyway, I had a Dokken demo that I purchased at a record convention, yeah anyone remember those, in 1985. There were 4 tunes one there with one really smokin't number called "Chance On Love". This thing ripped! I had asked Don about it late 1987, and he sang the chorus for me. Does anyone have a copy of this tune??? My copy went to the "training wife" about 20 years ago.

I'm just curious as to how many Dokken shows everyone has been to, when they were and where. Also, if you can remember what other bands performed.

So far, I've been to four. The first one was the PTTP tour w/ Slaughter, Cinderella, Dokken and Poison in June, 2000 in Saratoga, NY. The second was in August, 2000, same tour, just in Augusta, ME.

My third was the Metal Edge Rockfest w/ L.A Guns, Firehouse, Warrant, Ratt (who were awful) and Dokken in August, 2002 in...

I found a link to a supposed unreleased Dokken demo from 1982. The song is called "Think of the Days" and it's listed here , but the link to the MP3 is dead. Has anyone ever heard of this track? I thought I'd already heard of every possible unreleased Dokken track out there, but I've never heard this one mentioned before.

Could this be a lost Dokken demo?
